Welcome to Acequia Booksellers!

Acequia Booksellers is an independent, used bookstore specializing in Used, Out 
of Print and Rare Books in most fields. We are located in a hundred year old 
adobe building located on Albuquerque's historic route 66. Our website contains 
over 9500 titles, less than half the total inventory in the store. With a major 
focus on books in Literature, Arts and the Humanities, we have strong 
collections in the areas of Music including Jazz, Folk, Classical and World 
Music; Dance, Drama, Southwest History, and Western and General Americana, 
Anthropology and Archeology (including a large selection of Mayan and Meso-
American studies), Travel, Folklore, Native American Arts and History, Classical 
Studies including books in Greek and Latin, Eastern and Western Religion, 
Metaphysics, Philosophy, Science and Mathematics, Architecture, and many rare 
titles in various other subject areas. Within our Art section, we have large 
subsections dealing with Art History, Regional Art, Art Monographs, Art 
Catalogs, Art Biographies, Avant-garde, Art Criticism and Art Technique. Within 
out Literature section, we have large subsections of Poetry (one of the best 
collections in the Southwest), Literary Magazines and Chapbooks, Hardbound 
Fiction, Paperback Fiction, Essays and Criticism, Literary Biography, Mysteries, 
Modern First Editions and Signed editions. We also have large collections of 
Natural History and Cookbooks. For that special gift, we also carry many special 
editions, including Folio Society, Limited Editions Club and Easton Press. We 
are always happy to look at books which you might be interested in selling, 
whether you have one book or a collection. We are open Tuesday-Saturday from
