Llight wear to wrapper edges and corners, tiny stain on front.. Emilio Villa (Affori, 1914-Rieti, 2003) is one of the most radical figures of the cutting edge of the twentieth century. Intellectual multifaceted, artist, poet, Art Critic, Biblical Studies, translator, philologist, puts the word at the centre of his poetic research, experimenting with freedom and irreverence a new form of writing. Far from the norms laid down, his poetry merges with the page and is the subject, modeled on a hybrid language which mixes ancient and modern languages. Villa plays a major role in the artistic and cultural Italian landscape , still remaining in a kind of programme "hiding", Away from movements, groups, Academies, and from the traditional publishing and consumption; implementing them, in a mature age, aware and voluntary dispersion of his work. Publishes books, magazines, writings out of every official fee; it draws the layout and makes them in very limited quantities, sometimes even in copy only. Secret Mentor and propeller of new avant-garde, his work encouraged and promoted the initial work of artists (Burri, capogrossi, wheel, Mirko, novelli, de bernardi, parmiggiani, cloudy, and many others) to which he devoted a series of essays-Poetry, which were collected in Attributes of Art Today 1947-1967 (Feltrinelli, 1970).
