Full calf, gilt-lettered and decorated at spine, marbled endpapers, 16mo, 399 pp. Leather rubbed and scuffed, with small piece missing at rear spine edge, evidently from insect damage; some chipping and loss at crown and corners of boards, with deep scuff at crown, splitting at corners; front joint cracked; page corners bumped, small insect holes to endpapers, several early owner names and stray marks to halftitle and title pages and rear blank, otherwise unmarked; foxing throughout.
