Pasted in as a frontispiece (now detached and laid in) is a small original watercolor by Tanner. Inscribed and dated 1971 in margin below frontis. Wrappers sunned and edgeworn, page edges tanned, some offsetting to title page. (2) Wesley Tanner, Thirty Years at the Case (Book Club of California Quarterly Newsletter, LV:2, Spring 1990). Stapled wraps, 8vo, 52 pp. Issue also includes Membership, Gifts & Acquisitions, Reviews, etc. Small nick at spine, light wear at corners. (3) Evelyn, John, An Abstract of a Letter to the Royal Society Concerning the Dammage Done to his Gardens by the Preceding Winter [1684]. Passim/Wesley B. Tanner, Berkeley, 1990. 15 pp. One of 1000 copies printed "as a keepsake for participants at Type 90, Held at Oxford, August 31 to September 4, 1990." (4) Lovely letterpress holiday card (December 1996) with a short poem by E. E. Cummings, accompanied by a printed "Dear Family & Friends" letter (written by Susan Tanner), signed "All the best, Wesley." (5) Printed invitation and catalog/price list of an exhibit, John Lennon: The Artist. Lawrence Galleries, Santa Rosa, 1994. (6&7) Two printed promotional book marks from Water Row Books, one reproducing a check written by Jack Kerouac in 1961 to a package store, the other reproducing a 1969 Woodstock three-day ticket.
